About Mec Dot
I'm a Design Engineer specializing in intelligence systems who didn't come to software through computer science. I spent years in advertising, design, content creation, community building, and the music industry before becoming an engineer, a background that continues to shape the way I approach building products. I don't see design, strategy, product, and engineering as separate disciplines. I see them as interconnected ways of understanding the same problem. I care just as much about the people using a product as I do the technology behind it, because I believe the most interesting product challenges emerge where those disciplines overlap. Today I help founders turn ambiguous ideas into production-ready software by combining product strategy, UX, AI, and full-stack engineering. Sometimes that means writing code. Other times it means helping a team rethink the problem before we write a single line of it.
